Coco takes it. But that was not a good omen.

About Perricard. I believe he has won TWICE this year in matches that he never had a BP.
I hate the term SERVEBOT; I believe that Goran, Pete, Boris and others that were labeled as that were mis characterized. But there comes a moment in which you cannot avoid the term. Perricard has to be told that winning a point in 20 strokes is the same as winning it in one. He is truly amazing in his lack of clarity for the game.

Estimated endtime of Arthur Ashe match between Zverev and Tabilo is 1:30am ET.

If each player takes a set after two, 2:26am record would be in serious jeopardy.

We set a new duration record for this year's USO earlier today, with Altmaier defeating Medjedovic 7-5, 6(3)-7, 7(9)-6, 6(5)-7, 6-4. The match started at 3:40pm and concluded at 8:26pm. Had this been on either Ashe or Armstrong, the overnight session will not start until 9:30pm!

That Gauff-Tomljanovic match was one of the best matches of the year.

People are reading far too much into narrative rather than watching each point. They both were hitting hard and deep consistently. The women's game has been unmitigated garbage all year long, but that was highly entertaining.

Absolutely correct. Whoever was scoring the errors was pretty unrelenting--yes, many points landed with the ball outside the lines, but usually after a 15+ shot rally. Both players were blowing the cover of the ball--I've never seen Tomljanovic hit so hard or aggressively before. Coco's serve woes didn't come into play until she served for the match the first time. It held up well, considering she's completely changing her mechanics.

Unless you wrote this early on, we watched two different matches. Also, she broke Tomljanovic's serve 8 times and had 15 break points.

30 UFEs and 12 DFs? Her dfs came at pressure times, when she was servinv for the match, she opened with two. Not a good sign. of course, my comments reflect the fact that i expect better from her!

Think Gauff had 6 DFs in her last 3 service games
