It is refreshing to see Muchova without any wrappings or strappings and looking very fit.

I would love that, but the record is so bad for that. She can go only so many matches before something gets pulled or stretched or breaks down.
But I would say she is high in the list on possible first time winners.

was watching a bit of the Andreeva match - of course, Kostyuk played well, but it seemed to me Andreeva has become a bit cautious lately.. when Kostyuk got a short ball, she jumped all over it - when Andreeva got a short ball, she sometimes hung on the baseline and continued the rally rather than come forward to punish it.. Andreeva is a bit behind where she was last year..she should have been a threat at majors by now.

Kostyuk hitting very hard, generating power and moving well.. says she has worked on her quick-reaction muscles.. impressive win over Pegula 0 and 3..of course, the Ao will be a bit faster conditions and Kostyuk's game is better suited to the conditions in Brisbane..
