Doesn't it matter more about Paolini's results - if she wins the title she moves to #4 - Gauff is guaranteed the #2 seed at the French Open now.

With Zverev's loss today Alcaraz has secured the #2 seed for the French Open.

Paolini did the thing in Rome, and Swiatek is now set to be the 5th seed for Roland Garros.

Which means a QF meeting with a top 4 player if all seeds hold.
I say Pegula may not make it there. The other top 3 will probably make their seeding. So that is one truly blockbuster QF, if it happens.
Of course, I say her chances of making it to the QF's are not that solid. But she is still a 4 time winner. Won't be surprised if she finds her best tennis in 8 days.

I'll be very surprised if Sabalenka does not. Much less so about others.

Iga can't be called a dangerous floater (can she?) but it's going to be very interesting to see where she lands in the draw.
