I watched the full interview slack jawed. I haven't seen anyone that high in like ever. The consensus is it's meth. I'm surprised the interview is still up unless the shooter's lawyers plan to just run the video as an excuse for the shooter turning out the way he did. I mean DAMN!

The entire situation is extremely sad.

A few thoughts about the "gentleman" above praising his son's shooting rampage.
Why are people assuming he is under the influence of drugs, and under the influence of something as potent as meth? One of the things that got normalized during the 4 years of Tiny's presidency was the acceptance, by people like this, of such language and those ideas. The normalization of your most dastardly, violent and repulsive instincts and ideas was accepted the moment millions of people casted a vote for a man that stated women could be grabbed there, that he could shoot people in plain view and walk away and by thoughts such as if he were not his daughter's father, he would be dating her.
This man is probably not on any drugs; he is simply demonstrating the validation that Tiny gave to all these deranged ideas and many more. You hate the LGBT community? Say it; you will be joined by many others that do too. You say the solution is violence, and extreme violence for that matter? Say it, you may become a leader of a (large) group. You believe that one or many groups are inferior and unworthy to whatever you say you are? Say it, you will be joined.
Perhaps the sole thing that is "good" about the 4 years from hell, is that American became more honest. Yes, people like these do exist, and they live in the USA. In the end, Hillary's controversial statement was not controversial at all; it was revelatory. There are a lot of deplorables living amongst the rest of a normal population.

Because he has an extensive history of meth use and is as high as a kite in the video. There is no question he's under the influence of some substance. But no one is under the impression that he's less vile when he's sober. One of the best replies/exchanges to this story was someone saying, good lord this man is fueled by hatred and meth and this other guy responding to that to please leave meth out of this, that he was addicted to meth for 7 years and did many things he regrets, but was never high enough to become a Republican.

Joe, if you're going to have Congress intervene in this rail strike, demand that railroad companies improve the deal and guarantee paid sick days for workers.

Otherwise, let the workers organize to fight for the rights they deserve. This should be a no-brainer.
