Alcaraz still well ahead in this year's points, but he has made his situation more complicated. Now to finish the year #1 he'll need 3 wins at WTF's in case Sinner goes undefeated.

Are you sure Hewitt was 3x? That surprises me. He was #1 in 2001 and 2002, but not 20023, so he could not have held it three times.

Hewitt only once. They're listed in chronological order and the number 3 refers to Federer only :)

Isn't that complicated for both? ;)
Sinner has to go undefeated, but Alcaraz only needs to win 3. Sounds like Sinner has it a bit tougher :)

Yes of course, but until this week it didn't look like Sinner has any chance at all.
