And the guy responsible plays golf every day.
Pretty messed up, I would say.

I'm not very worried about copycat incidents arising from this, for obvious reasons... and so I don't have a problem posting it here.

When a young child deals with a problem by deliberately shooting someone with a gun, the parents need to be taken 'into custody' far more than the child does.
The child needs help. The parents need punishment.

Culturally, here in America, shooting someone to solve a problem is represented many ways as a viable option. Charming, huh?

This has been in the making for years.
In a slightly un-related sense.
I remember when French Actress Bridgitte Bardot, IN THE 70'S, said that the USA was insane: "If you show (in a film) a man kissing a woman's breast, that is X rated. But if you show a man hacking a woman's breast with a machete, that is PG".
How do you solve this problem of acceptable violence NOW? How do you put the genie back in the bottle?

I attended a Newport News elementary school (different one) for grades 1 and 2, was taught by my all-time favorite teacher. Cannot imagine such a scenario. This is so sad.

I posted this here because this story has become a national one. Post of 2023 so far.

And if found that it came from the young boy's house, his parents will be charged with a misdemeanor. A misdemeanor, pfft.
