No - come on - that can't be Halep...
It's got to be Svitolina - disguised as Halep!

The woman in the picture looks nothing like Halep to me.

She is glowering, too. I've never seen Halep with this facial expression.

I recognized her... :P
It's just Simona with a bit longer hair, and good production.

Translation:
I don't like to be called Carlos. I like Carlitos or Charlie. Sincerely, Carlos sounds too serious to me and it sounds as if I have done something wrong.

It is a very common theme in L. America. When your mom calls you by your full name, you know you are in trouble.

My favorite Murphy Brown episode was when she finally decided on a name for the baby and was then asked what the middle name would be. When asked why he needed a middle name, the reply was so he would know when she was mad at him. I must admit that it felt very satisfying to use my son's full name in those situations (he has 2 middle names).

My take-away - if Carlitos' parents were willing to be strict with him, hopefully the tennis fans of the world can escape having to watch yet another entitled, self-absorbed brat. He seems like he takes after Rafa and has a more sensible head on his shoulders.

You mean: you DO NOT like players banging their racquets against the chair? Long toilet breaks? Questioning the audience's intelligence? :o
Indeed. Let's hope in a short while we will have Alcaraz and Sinner and, for example, Hurkacz at the top.

While I certainly agree that the entitled, spoiled behaviour of some players is unhealthy - and annoying -, I also feel that it provides a necessary contrast to the behaviour of the more mature players. It also helps us to appreciate the players who have a genuine respect.

That said, I also have no problem with players yelling at themselves or smashing racquets in frustration with their own play. If those things are an honest display of emotion, I think it's great. I prefer the allowance of honest emotion to an overzealous control.

I, personally, don't want all players to behave the same. A homogeneous society - any society, including the tennis society - is both boring and unhealthy.

Not just Latin America, and not just your mom. :)
