Travelling today to the USA. Gotta admit: first time in my life that I feel nervous going there. Not a nice feeling.

I had some co-workers going there over the holidays and I questioned why did they really want to do that (just going Toronto to Buffalo.) Apparently they got held up at the border because "gamma rays" were detected. I have zero interest in going there right now, but then again I've only left my province once since covid (and even then it was just to the neighboring province for 3 days for daughter swim meet.) Not much travelling for me other than within the province for kid sports activities.

I do need to take care of some things there, and I want to do a little skiing. But, if I were rich, I would be heading to Switzerland. Maybe Suliso could point me down a proper slope.

Flew in with no problems. Landed in IAH and the CBP officer was courteous. Gave me my usual 180 days entry.
Eventually landed in DRO Colorado. People protesting in the streets (against ICE). Colorado, of course, has a large migrant population.
Something feels broken.
But I am fine.
