You know I think she is pretty, but those shots do nothing for her.

All the Nike athletes did photo shoots at the Nike House/HQ in NY. Some players are in their court outfits, some are just in their street clothes.

I don't see a racquet smashing contest thread for 2023, but does Sabalenka's post-ceremony locker room performance qualify? If nothing else, there is beauty in its deliberateness.

We have not opened a Racquet Smashing topic in a couple of years, because (if my memory serves me well) there have been few worthy entries.
Feel free to start it.

I didn't see it either but if it post ceremony that must have been a good calculated one that late after match!

Although not ferocious in the smashing, I do appreciate the pre-planning and obvious disgust :)

Netflix cameras were there. I think it was staged.

Oh I didn't scroll down and see the wide view. Then again players know they are being filmed when they are on court too, so it ... could .. be legit. When you're angry and have to hold it in for the post match interview... have to release the steam somewhere :)

What's confusing? The two separate charges, one for Roxadustat at the US Open 2021 and then the problems with her biological passport later? The WTA's statement is pretty straightforward. "Doping is serious. She can appeal. We'll respect the rulings."

Following the decision by the ITIA, the WTA issued a statement:
“It is of the utmost importance for players to be aware of the Tennis Anti-Doping Program rules and to follow them. The Independent Tribunal has made its ruling surrounding Simona’s case and under the TADP, the decision may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The WTA will support the decisions reached through the process and will continue to follow this closely.”

Considering the recent video of Tomic's elevator beat-down, it might. (That was horrible footage... people wondered if it was related to betting.)
