IMO, this wasn't any kind of matter of Jessica "not having it" when she was down in the first set. At the point that Rybakina was up 5-3 in the first set- neither one of them were playing particularly well. From that point on, Rybakina played miserably- and Jessica (mostly) stopped her errors, played excellent defense, and let Rybakina self-destruct.

Just pathetic. Both tours have far too many players in the Top 10 who just fall apart far too often during any big matches. Makes it very hard to be a fan of these players (hopefully, Carlos will have a fully HOF career, if his health permits- and, Coco can put together a HOF career). Very tiring.
