Not going to encourage highlighting anything that this horrible person does.
Here's a palette-cleanser, then. Not Turin. Danderyd Challenger in Sweden.

I actually don't like tennis played on superfast courts and stopped watching completely during the '90's. I started watching again just as Sampras was leaving the sport because I wanted to introduce my daughter to tennis. I feel the faster the court the less strategy is involved so I guess that explains why I prefer clay court tennis.

Nothing wrong with either but we do need a variety..so different styles can flourish..

I always liked the USOpen surface because it supports baseliners, volleyers equally .any style except pure defence ...favora attacking tennis of any kind .

Fair point but Bercy is pretty fast too, and Alcaraz squandered that opportunity...

It is a bit puzzling, though, why Alcaraz doesn't like the faster surfaces .Melbourne, Bercy, Turin..he serves well, has good reflexes, volleys well, doesn't take an excessive backswing, and is the quickest player on the tour ...all just mindset ?

I don't think it's a matter of not liking a fast surface. I think it's more of a case of not having played matches on that type of surface very often. This is first year in Turin, and he's played Bercy a few times, and Melbourne a few times, though the Australian Open courts bounce higher than either Bercy, or Turin, so there not quite the same.

According to many Youtube analists Paris Bercy is quite a bit slower than YEC.

Almost certainly true but it is still faster than the average...Paris is rated 37.5, Turin 42.1, second fastest, after Shanghai

Alcaraz did not do well at Shanghai either...lost to Dimitrov

Tsitsipas withdraws during match today due to injury. Hurkacz could replace him against Djokovic Thursday.

Djokovic will win group if he wins later today.
