....BTW, perhaps it will come to pass that my pick of Pavlyuchenkova for today was not a wise one. And, that my starting a Badosa is Washed Up Thread will be stalled for at least a few more days....

Well I did see the match, and there is no doubt Jabeur was a pale shadow of herself ..maybe 50% of her peak ability ..

Djokovic play doesn't convince this week as much as it usually does. We'll see if it means anything or as sometimes nothing at all.

Like a lot of players, and people in general, he had his Annus Mirabilis and then seems to have gone back to his regular level indeed.
But we have to give him some time. Maybe it is a slump, maybe it is true regression to the mean.
