Boulter is just having her week; you know, every WTA player gets to play really well one week of the year, and then we have something to talk about for a few days.
Flavor of the week sort of thing. She has been around long enough to know that this is not like she all of the sudden found 5th gear.

Yes ..Gilbert says something like this: some days you will play so well, nobody can beat you, some days you will play so badly you cant beat anybody..it is what you do the rest of the days that makes you a champion, or not!

Agree, but Djokovic or Federer in their primes never really played so badly that anyone could beat them. Maybe one could hand pick some examples, but it really would have been only a few over a decade or more.

I would say the great ones have like limits. One really surprising loss every year. Two or three that make you wonder. And the others are to fellow really good players.
Has Boulter really beaten a really good player this week? No, there were none in the draw. Change Boulter for any of the other 16 players on her side of the draw and we could be saying the same, maybe with the exception of BHM because she was the #2 seed.

Well, well, Boulter continues in the zone. I like her game, good pace and depth, not much volley though
