The folks at GQ went out of their way to drag him so I looked for this. I dunno looks like a walking midlife crisis to me. I guess the Corvette is parked nearby...

Matty Matheson in Bode
“Red carpet dressing has to strike a fine balance. Stars want to have fun, but often they’ll push it too far off the deep (like a few of the looks we saw today *cough * Jeremy Strong). One star who always manages to strike this balance perfectly is Matty Matheson. Decked out in a white Bode suit with black Western-style accents, the chef and The Bear actor topped off his look with a bolo tie and some dainty slip-on shoes that the big man pulled off with panache. One of my favourite dressers every year, Matheson nailed it in 2025.” —Charlie Calver, head of digital content
It's a fun suit but the pants don't fit him.

You missed this ham gem of a cape on Melissa McCarthy, Ti
There was a decent pantsuit underneath

Thrilled for Demi Moore's win. It's not for the faint of heart, but The Substance was my favorite movie of the year, and probably in my top 5 favorites of all time.

Got to see that last week and, for the most part, would definitely recommend! Even more so if you can see it on a cinema screen Should easily make it on the shortlist for the Oscars.
Illegitimi non carborundum.

Demi Moore's acceptance speech at the Golden Globes. I was not surprised at her lack of award recognition for reasons she states but I am surprised that Harrison Ford is another actor who has not received any recognition.

Complete list of Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees
Updated 3:32 PM EST, January 8, 2025
LOS ANGELES (AP) — “Wicked” is the leading nominee for the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards, with the Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown” following closely behind.
Out-of-control wildfires that swept across Los Angeles and Southern California on Tuesday night forced the Screen Actors Guild to cancel its plans to announce the nominations live Wednesday morning. The nominations were instead issued by press release.
Notable television nominees include “Shōgun,” “Abbott Elementary,” “The Bear” and “Hacks.”
The SAG Awards, hosted by Kristen Bell, will be streamed live on Netflix on Feb. 23. Bell is a nominee for the Netflix comedy series “Nobody Wants This,” as is her co-star Adam Brody.

Re: '25 Awards Season Non EGOT Noms & Discussion
A bit of outrage in Mexico over the award success of Emilia Perez, a French film done in non-Mexican Spanish with little involvement from Mexico.
Awards success of cartel boss musical Emilia Pérez prompts outrage in Mexico
The film about Mexico has just one main actor who is Mexican, and Mexicans say it’s heavy with stereotypes and treats violence with frivolity
