I kinda loved Venus' comment about her COBRA. When a very wealthy person is complaining about COBRA payments, says a lot about the industry.

Her medical bills are probable quite high

Naomi loses to Raducanu 4&2.
It is not the losing. It is the scores. I know that Raducanu is very good on hards, but so is (was?) Naomi. This should at least have had a 7-5, 7-6 set, or had gone three.
She is not looking good at all (Naomi).

I was on that bandwagon at Wimbledon, but I never considered her a slam dunk in the match. Just a better possibility than many of the other choices. However, I was obviously wrong.

Leylah just held her nerve (and her serve) and breaks Pegula to win in three sets 6-3, 1-6, 7-5.

The crowd is trying to lift Venus but she's down 6-2, 4-1 to Frech...

Pleased with Raducanu's performance and delighted with Leylah's. They were never the one -off good players people think . But I do wonder if the court is faster than I thought on day 1..

Does the heat affect the speed of the court? If so it's much hotter now than it was in the beginning of the week.
