it is at least plausible that the declie in Swiatek's level is due to the stress from the doping alleagation. WADA and WTA really need to ask themselves in what way they are promoting tennis by doing all this. WTA at least looks to be on a mission to destroy women's tennis.

So, like in so many cases, do not take responsibility for your actions. To the point that you got off easy on a doping case, and then the decline of your game is to be blamed on that.
The WTA may be mishandled frequently. That they are out there set to destroy women's tennis is an incredible hyperbole.

I'd say Steve Simon won a few battles on that mission to destroy women's tennis. Whoever takes his place has a Herculean PR job ahead of them.

Incompetence is not purpose. I agree that he was, at best, mediocre. That he was out there to destroy the tour is not true.
