I am cynical by nature, but I still find it unfathomable that 31.78 percent of Americans voted for that man with all that we know about him. Just can't process it. Makes me sick to the stomach every morning and will continue to make me sick for the rest of my life.

Exactly. And somebody, not the pundits, not the media, not the late nigh comedians/hosts, should do the research on how come this was possible.

Example.
Last night I had friends over for dinner. They voted for Trump. we were talking and they mentioned that now, with Tiny on board, the oil industry will do well.
Another friend, staying at my house and who also works in oil, and I, had to explain to them that the oil companies are doing quite well, thank you. But they did not know.

Repeat:
Somebody has to study how this happened. Because it is mind boggling, but it has happened now twice.

And none of this is their demigod's fault. Just like the one whose wife lost her job after they'd prepared to move for it. That person really thinks Tiny has no idea that this is happening to him and not the people it's supposed to happen to.

Every word in every sentence is capitalized. I'm not sure I buy this. No one actually writes like that. Even MAGGites. Run-on sentences are believable. All caps are believable. But this... It just seems fishy and contrived.

Yup. That's the one. As it stands right now, if there was a disease outbreak somewhere, CDC or any other federal health agency wouldn't be able to say a word about it.

What I'm not sure about is whether this applies to non-health federal agencies. Every report I have read indicates it applies only to HHS and its operating divisions.

If something bad was going down, and I worked at the CDC and knew about it, I wouldn't keep it to myself. I doubt many there would be able to for long either.

There are lots of wealthy, well-funded medical research centre working on these issues- i imagine they will just create their own network, like a shadow CDC, which would work well. I dont think there is cause of alarm yet. The real challenge will come from catastrophes we cannot anticipate - some obscure agency like Fisheries could sound the alarm today...they could get silenced...i recommend this lovely book by Michael Lewis - the fifth risk. Very relevant.

That is exactly the mechanics behind Chavez, when he was alive. Things went well? He was totally in charge of that and was to be thanked. Things went wrong? He didn't know that was happening.

I find it hard to believe that functioning adults thought for one second that Tiny gave a damn about them. There's no weird punctuation or anything in this post just magical thinking.
