Raducanu playing well...it is often how good your #2 player is, that is decisive...everyone has one good player, few countries have 2..

Errani's serve is ALWAYS a surprise ;)
Really. Her regular serve is a putrid delivery that comes at about 70 MPH. Serving underarm at 68 MPH adds very little to that.

GB looking good too, they have a very strong #2 in Raducanu...if I didn't distrust Boulter so much I would call them favorites now to win the BJK Cup...haven't forgiven Boulter for knocking me out of the USO SP...
Boulter does it again! Justified my distrust, I mean

I'm wondering if Zverev will join Germany team for next round. Davis Cup is something that he didn't win yet. And with their doubles team the chances are good.

US doubles team- why would you play Paul and Shelton instead of Ram and Krajicek,? No faith in your specialist doubles players?

And let us not forget what happened the last time they refused to play Ram..Fish lost his captaincy too! Why do they never learn,? And Bryan is a doubles specialist himself!
Is there something else to this story I don't know?

Nominations to the team had to be in before the even started, and if I'm understanding the rules correctly at least 3 members of the German team would have to withdraw with injury in order to nominate additional players.

Italy luckier today than the US according to AP article
"
Volandri swapped out his original doubles team, Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, for Sinner and Berrettini, and the change paid dividends"

seriously.. is there a hint of racism here? Ram is of Indian origin..! being sidelined repeatedly, to the detriment of all? I would hope not..?
