Sen. Corey Booker (D-NJ) has been barking about the president on the senate floor for over 24 hours. If Schumer had a clue, he'd have every Senate Democrat lined up to keep this going for days or weeks. But I don't think Schumer has that kind of clue.
Schumer does not want to lose his position leading His Majesty's Loyal Opposition.

He shouldn't have to do this by himself.

The one closest to me is scheduled for 7:30 a.m.
And it is a half hour drive from where I live.

About the Kamala/Waltz posts above.
The election was NOT about the economy. People were not paying attention to anything related to that.
The people that voted for him are elated. He has sent all those brown people back to El Silvador or What-emala, and that was the sole thing that matters.
Remember, it was all about MAWA.

I think next time they will pay attention to all that if this economy wrecking exercise works out in a way I think it will.

Sure. If it goes this way, they may pay attention.
But when I was in Colorado in February, I heard it a couple of times. The most critical thing was the crisis in the Southern border. That would have been the cause for the imminent fall of the USA, as the US military would have been taken down by Mexican, Salvadorean and those dirty, filthy Venezuelan ilegal aliens.
All while everybody was having dinner at a Mexican restaurant.

It seems it is a Turkish proverb.

If you know the difference between NYC and its burbs and upstate NY where Albany is located this is a big deal.
