Who would've thought, even a few months ago, that Eubanks would be a bandwagon

Or a few years ago, that this far into a slam that the majority of picks would be American

For those who saw it does the scoreline accurately reflect what happened? Djokovic musetti would have been way more interesting and competitive in my opinion. Now another routine Novak win against hurkacz up next. I am super bored by that guy's unmitigated greatness. And that nobody has the heart to truly challenge him.
I was talking about that yesterday. If you are a Novak fan, it is indeed a golden age. But, even at his very peak, Roger had Rafa on clay, something he could not beat.
Novak is simply the best player ON ANY SURFACE, and at all the tournaments that matter. And I don't see any of the new players taking him down.
I said this a few years ago: the only thing that would beat the Big Three would be age. And, so far, I have been unfortunately right with Roger and Rafa. We will simply have to wait until Novak grows old for the new kids to take over. In about two years.

One match not finished. So much for catching up with reality. But at least reality is in sight.

Even more so, who would have thought that we would see the day where one could justifiably argue that the picks of Eubanks could end up being "too soon"?

The draw has been very kind to Eubanks. Very unlikely hw wins another match.

Still. One of the signs of a good player is to take advantage when you get a good draw. I give him a little chance against Stefanos; if he serves well, he can take one set in a TB.

My hat off to the 3 Saffiulin pickers.
I picked Dennis, then switched to Rublev, which is not looking good either.

And 27 gone just like that! Good calls by the Safiullin picks!
