Glad to see BHM win...more to come, I hope .she has a nice all-round game and volleys well too .maybe her footwork will let her down on a super fast court but she should do well generally ..

She has done this before. Remember the year in which she won both grass court tune-ups before Wimbledon? Then lost in the 1R there?
She has the game, and she is a lefty. Now she will probably disappear for a few months. But, if she indeed can keep it up, she brings a good deal to the tour. We need a good S. American player at the top (no other way to promote the sport down here).
