And that's why I say never say anything is clearly going to be the case :)
What is the fun in that?

Similar to yesterday, the 2-0 group leader wins the first set which is enough to put him through (Zverev.)

True... but then we're going to tease you back when you're wrong about what is "clearly" going to happen ;) Hard to say anything is completely 100%

Is Alcazar out for sure if he loses in straight sets?

Yes, Alcaraz is out.

Ruud just needs one set to go through.

If Rublev wins in straight sets it would go to games and Alcaraz can't beat both of them. He is -6, Ruud is +3, Rublev is -8.

Rublev needs to win by 6 games or more total to advance.

Well, 2/4 on you "clear" picks :P

Now it's probably going to be Zverev instead... :)

You think Zverev can beat Sinner here?! Very unlikely

Re 'anything can happen' - I have always wondered why golf is so different from tennis ..I don't know much about golf but I am told the wind makes too much difference in golf .too random..not the case in tennis. Tennis is a form game, not a crapshoot..the better player usually wins. Not always, of course but usually .

If anyone can beat Sinner on indoor hard then it's Zverev.

Ruud gets second spot after winning first set.

Rublev won the second set, but at this point won't affect semis.

Sinner vs Ruud and Fritz vs Zverev
