Who is Shelton?

Bad joke.
No, no amnesia. He is climbing up, and he has weapons. The serve is not his only tool; he has speed and he is powerful.
Using Ashkor's Tier system, he is in tier 3 (J/C are in 1, Novak in 2). Given the right conditions, he can go far. And he doesn't lose to players he should not.
He is a mildly dark horse for the USO.
(Now, watch that jinx go full blast and he having a lousy summer).

looking back at the W finals, I am astonished at how high the level was, from both players.. while the drama was not high, the quality of tennis was, perhaps, even higher than the French Open.. these two fellas have taken the game to a new level.. never may it fall!

Tier 2 is solely inhabited by Novak. The sole two players that can beat him are J/C, on a regular basis (this list, of course, will grow quickly as his legs fade).
Tier 3 are: Fritz, Shelton, Zverev.
We are splitting hairs here, I would say. The differences are minute. (except the gap between J/C and the rest).
