About time

Since we first started playing this, I have a nearly 100% track record of picking the wrong answer in any game involving the Colts.

The one constant for me has been that there will always be one disastrous week that puts me out of contention. Last year was WC weekend. I hope this las week will teach me something.

Now this week? This week has the makings for some serious low scores. We all thought the Cowboys would probably get shut out by the Broncos and the Jaguars would be in the mix for a win by the 4th quarter over the Bills, right?

One advantage of being in Venezuela. Total power blackout yesterday, full 24 hours. So I saw no games, only to wake up today to see that mess.

Cowboys, Rams and Cincinnati. As soon as I said that the Bengals had to be taken seriously, 0-2. What a jinx.

52? Sounds like a dream to me. Pretty sure I'll be in the 30s or if I'm lucky the 40s.

And I can't even pretend like that's not somewhat of a relief. I had both Baltimore and Atlanta winning, so I'm well aware, my score could be even worse and seemed like it was going to be.

Hope everything is okay following the blackout.

Scores were woefully low in week 9, with ptmcmahon's 56 being the high for the week. Even excluding my lone Indianapolis pick, the average was only 47% of the total points possible. That average has not been under 58% for the 8 previous weeks of the year.
