Too much variation in playing conditions from Abu Dhabi to Qatar! Who would have thunk it? Not good for the players' bodies...

Never was a fan of Hingis. The game was not exciting to me.
Given the choices, Patty. I know she was kind of crazy, but the BH was a beauty.

A very tough opponent, a guy that was an asset to the sport.
Won't be missed by many outside of Argentina, but could provide a lot to the local players.

He'll definitely be missed in New York. I saw him on five separate occasions there, and aside from a match where he played against Nadal back in 2015, he was always the crowd favorite (even against an American in one case). Always positive and upbeat, always trying his best - he was pretty hard not to root for.

Too much dispersion in court speeds in the ME swing...after the AO, rated quite fast, you get Qatar, medium, then Doha slow, then Dubai, medium fast, then IW, slowest on the planet! I think Bencic was wise to skip Doha. It must be very difficult for players...

He was always easy to root for. Rooting for David every time he fought the Goliaths was easy :)
But his game was necessarily limited.
