just think - she has a financial interest in the drug, Alex O is on the board, she is probably the only athlete in the world who has taken the drug, now she can say 'look, I passed, it is safe for all athletes'. a disgraceful and cynical ploy, but quite legal. what else can it be?

At this point, I'm not privy to the questions that fans submit, but thanks for submitting and please keep doing it! I'm going to see if we can answer extra ones in the newsletter. What name did you submit under?
I will let you know if it is selected haha

As we get to the end of the year, I was meditating on which of the players today is capable of winning their first major title in the next few years.. on the Men's side, really nobody, except maybe Fonseca has a 10% chance, given the dominance of Sinner and Alcaraz.
On the women's side, of course, there are a few - Anisimova is very close already, it seems only a matter of time. Andreeva too. Muchova seems to have regressed a bit in 2025, but remains someone with the ability to win a major.
so..

Anisimova 85% probability she will win a major sooner or later, she is very close now, has shown she can beat the big girls- Sabalenka, Swiatek, Gauff, Rybakina on a big stage.
Andreeva also 85%, regressed a bit in the second half of 2025, else I would have said 90%
Muchova 50% - clearly has the game and class, has been a bit unfortunate but can win something.
Noskova and Tauson 30% each (Noskova has also regressed a bit in 2025)
Pegula 20% - she has been close but failed at the last step.
Svitolina, Bencic, Paolini 10% each
Mboko (too early but she has real potential) 10%- to me, she seems like Gauff 2.0, potentially, as athletic, and similar backhand but much better forehand.
Jovic 5% (again, too early but clearly she has class, her easy power reminds me of Rybakina)
Alexandrova 5%

what do you think?

I think you rate Muchova way too high (10% for me at best), otherwise about right. I'm thinking Anisimova will win a Slam next year and no one else will be new.

Muchova history of injuries cannot be ignored. She has the game, and she has the muscle. But she is a 1970's F1 car: the problems are the reliability. And sometimes, her strokes start flying away. If she plays at her very best, she is a top 3 player. But that is a tall call.
I don't see Pegula ever winning a slam. She is the opposite of Muchova: her reliability is super high. She will bring her best game almost always. But her best game will not beat the top players. She will need a hugely favorable draw and some luck of the other players being knocked by somebody else.

On the men's. We all agree; right now, it is a two men race. Fonseca is not ready yet, it will take a couple of years. Maybe, maybe, at RG he can do some damage, because he is at his best on clay. But he needs to round up that game. The BH can be improved.

Of all the things that separate players like us from these guys, the ball toss is one of the most basic and most crucial little things.
My accuracy on my ball toss is abysmal; I may have a toss that sometimes even goes behind my head, and the height is all over the place. So, my capacity to hit my serve consistently is all over the place.
He can put it in the same spot again and again.
