The problem with Jabeur is that she lost two finals to players ranked below her. Rybakina is now a "force" because of that Wimbledon, and she has added a couple of 1000's; we have yet to anoint Vondrousova in the same fashion because she has won little else. So Ons is going to need some very good breaks.
I would still not write her off, though.
Wimbledon was last year. I think this year Rybakina's most strong points are top-tier win-loss record (40-12 after Canada) and especially 3-0 against Swiatek this year.

from the couple of qualies I can see on youtube, the court looks medium-paced, a tad slower than cleveland. that will suit folks like Alcaraz, Rybakina - and not Coco, Sinner etc. But not drastic enough to make too much difference, I think.

She writes a lot of lifestyle/off-court stuff for them. Not sure if she is on staff or not.

I can't believe that Grounds Passes cost more than $200 now and are almost always resale tickets.

It's why so many people showed up this week for Qualies and to watch practice sessions.

Horrendous. Could have gone to the Cincy quarters for $50 and that includes a seat on Center Court.
