these grass courts seem to favor short, light people...getting down to the ball is so critical, and tall/heavy people dont find it easy..Djokovic, Andreescu are flexible, so they manage... i think Jabeur does well because her centre of gravity is low, she can get down to the ball well ..not so Rybakina and Sabalenka etc. Coco is quite tall, but she is flexible..

Grass will always favor the nimble. It is the common thing amongst all the great champs.

Roddick talked about this on one of his recent podcasts - that some good servers aren't good on grass because they "dig in" too much and aren't light of foot

Sharapova butchered the pronunciation of "epitome" in her 20th anniversary story on ESPN toady. She did the player's walk to Centre Court with Fowler and was speaking eloquently and reverently about the experience, and when they finally reached the grass, she said is the was "EH-pih-toem" of something or other. So funny.

We need to look at the player's game, not past results...Paolini has the game, especially the defense and foot speed...as for Rybakina I consider her to be in the same class as Sabalenka and Swiatek..again, I consider just her game..nothing else
