Fire the GM. He was the one that sold the house, the car, the parking lot and the country club share for Russell.
Who unfortunately has been terrible, but Hackett could not see that in July (or whenever he was signed).

That is for sure not right. If Chargers win tonight, they are also in.

Then if Miami win next week they will be 9-7. Pittsburgh can at get best get to 9 wins and lost head to head to Miami. So they need Miami to lose twice.

Checking the NFL page confirms this - it says Miami clinch next week if they win and Jets lose.

So Pittsburgh could be out before game starts. That said I think they still play hard trying to prevent Tomlin from having his first losing season.

Well that was one of the easiest games to predict all year.

I'm thinking Tennesee stick with Dobbs for next week. He had more yards than Willis did in any game... by halftime.

I didn't put 16 on that game because there are also a few others that seem a forgone conclusion.

Starting a running back who had less than 50 yards on the season, and a QB who eight days ago was on the Lions practice squad made it a pretty safe bet. But I only had them 15 myself.

Of course, that QB could be starting a playoff game in two weeks (at home) now...the same weekend the last overall draft pick starts a home playoff game. You can't make these stories up - people would say they are too unbelievable.

This is the year of the odd "QB Story": washed-out Geno Smith having a rather good year in Seattle, Russell Wilson going up in flames worth $250MM, Kyler Murray's guarantee contract, which right now looks like a big mistake, Brady's bad season (for his standard), Deshaun Watson showing you can't stop playing a sport for 700 days and expect to come back as if nothing, the 49'ers "we can win with any QB" story, when every other team is strictly dependent on their QB, and, of course, Tua's multiple concussions, a cautionary tale.

On that subject: they need to change the helmets; allow the players to wear the ones in practice. Ugly? You bet. Safer? Aha.
