If someone isn't the biggest fan of Vika's, I just assume that person doesn't have the amnesia most others practice where she's concerned. Rebranding at it's finest.

LOL, we may have our disagreements now and then. But, at least we'll always have Diago Contempt. :gorgeous:

Crap year vs. crap year. I say this goes to 5 irrelevant sets.

Did Pam seriously just reference Shapovalov's pitiful attempt at music as he was winning that 3rd set?

No, don't get me wrong. I admire this man; he has reached unimaginable levels of tennis with a game that is as limited as can be. He is, to me, a total overachiever. He is an inline 4 turbo in a world of V8's.
But I said it a few days ago: playing him is like trying to kill a cockroach with a broomstick. His game has become tediousness defined.

You were right, but I wish you weren't... I'd like to see the next match on that court.

That was an incredible get and pass off the line by Tiafoe at 7-7 in the first-set tiebreak, helping him overcome five set points and take the first from Schwartzman.

Shapavalov-Rublev has been the most entertaining men's match of the tournament to me.

Shows how opinions can differ.

Diego decided to drive everybody crazy and give Tiafoe a set that he had completely in his tiny pocket.
A true monumental collapse.

I watched some of the third set and it was fun tennis. I haven't watched a full men's match yet.

I've been watching for the last hour. Shapovalov just gifted probably decisive break to Rublev. Watching all four hours would have been way too much.

Of course they are not showing it here but, the Cilic/Evans match seems to be some titanic struggle.
Good quality?

It seems like everything is going the way of Hawkeye Live and I guess the most important part is there is buy in from the players, but it is quite obvious that system isn't batting 1000 at all times. They just showed a "just missed" second serve from Pliskova on screen that was a few inches further out than what it clearly was in actuality. Not the first or fifth time I've seen that this week.

I'm not sure the accuracy all the time matters at this point to those that want that system, but I wonder if using it so often lowers the accuracy?
