She is not-feeling the ball better than anyone I have seen. :) That was beautiful tennis in the last part of the 2nd set. Iga plays the big points better than anyone. She doesn’t need her A+ game to win the title. But Garcia could still beat her, maybe. I think Iga will beat Sabalenka. Her return might force Sab to miss a lot of serves.

I say Sabalenka will take her. If Pegula can break her 6 times in a two setter, so can Aryna. And not be broken that much.

Truly feeling like we're gonna be here awhile even if one of them can win it in straight sets.

Really don't like Alcaraz' serving action..doesn't take the racket back enough..results in a bit of snap..could lead to injuries over time, apart from not generating as much pace...

People have been afraid to come to the net for the past 25 years!

Video might not be available everywhere immediately. If it's not, it'll be available post-match fwiw.

Two hours warm up. And now, best of three.
Time to prepare some tea. This will take time.

I do this in pickleball and ping pong pretty frequently... but it's significantly more difficult to do in tennis.

Sinner is doing a great job snatching tiebreaks. Two sets to one up now!

It's as if both these guys were told before the match to "go out there and showcase what the next 10 years will be like".
Some amazing all-court play and shotmaking from both. All over the place, points are lasting 4 or 5 shots longer than they should...
Bravo to both players 👏🏻.

This is wild. But I'm not sure I can last til the end. Have the nerve to have an actual in-person meeting to attend late morning. Of all the days for that to happen.
