How much fuel does Alcaraz have? He is going at least four against another player that is as strong as him, if not more. That has got to come into play.

If I heard right, Tiafoe the first person ever to start 8-0 in tiebreakers?

Alcaraz is having tiebreaks problem. Has now lost all four at this USO.

Alcaraz - Tiafoe was (slightly) more 'electrifying' than Alcaraz - Sinner... but Alcaraz - Sinner was better tennis and a better match overall.
All three players deserve our applause - and our thanks.

On the papers this is an excellent final. Two young players fighting for the glory and #1 spot. Hopefully they can produce good tennis too.

Rumors of suspicion regarding his muscle mass and stamina are already circulating. Youth usually doesn't guarantee stamina. It has to be built. Maybe these rumors are nothing new for Alcaraz and I'm just now hearing them. They might also be way out of line, but they are circulating at high levels, not in trolly parts of the Internet.

That's not surprising given his success, rapid ascension in the rankings, and the long standing rumours about the Spanish players in general.

Shotmaking wise, the final will be Alcaraz. He has more power, and I think moves better.
But three straight 5-setters are too much. If Ruud can extend some sets, that will help.
But of course, I was wrong about that stamina issue in the Tiafoe-Carlitos match, so maybe Carlitos really has all the stamina in the world.
