by ponchi101 Evans is playing a superb match; he is really doing a lot. And the score says nothing about that.

by JTContinental Someone named DJ Mad Linx is doing courtside commentary?

by JTContinental Alcaraz's extreme intensity is uncomfortable for me to watch. I realize this is a personal issue. :D

by jazzyg A healthy Keys is simply a better play than Samsonova. Good win.

I don't like her chances if she faces Pegula because winning is a habit and Keys has not won enough to be confident in tight moments against Pegula, who has done a ton of winning, but I am glad she will get that opportunity. She would have won the US Open in 2017 if she had played anyone but Stephens in the final, and I would love for her to get that elusive slam title.

That's why I never pull for Nadal. Strangely, it doesn't bother me with Alcaraz, which is a personal thing, too.

Does it now?

by Suliso I've never heard of Matteo Arnaldi... How does he play?

by jazzyg That, to me, was the most entertaining match of the tournament.

Evans was never going to beat Alcaraz, but when he is fully engaged, Evans is one of the best shotmakers on tour.

OK, enough. Enough of the pimply Carlos commentary. Enough of always trying to bring Sweet Carlos bad luck. By insisting on calling them by their names- You and Suliso keep trying to bring Bad Karma to my favorites. So, KEEP Carlos' name OUT of your (you-know-what)' ing mouth,

He plays tennis. That's all we've got for you. :)

(LOL, I've seen him play a bit at this Open via ESPN+- and I still can't really tell you one thing about his game).

AND, of course. this is one of the things that I love about his game. :D

It did. I assume you posted by the end of the 3rd set. That was an excellent set of tennis, and well deserved for Evans.
Then, back to normal.

by ponchi101 Serious question. Who is faster: Alcaraz or Demiñaur?
Alex's speed is incredible. I am watching him play Jarry and Jarry cannot hit past him.

by ashkor87 Watching Dimitrov - Zverev..both playing well...nice to see them both getting back..

by ti-amie I'm watching Ons vs Bouzkova. It's been a wild ride.

Insane. I'm going to need a sports psychologist after this match.

by ti-amie GSM Ons Jabeur over Marie Bouzkova 5-7, 7-6(5), 6-3.

by nelslus WELL, that was interesting, entertaining and dumb. Baby nelslus requested to include frustrating. :vomit:

Not a surprise so....

by ashkor87 Neither Djoko nor Med inspiring much confidence...we could have a surprise finalist?

You don't understand Nelsus' obsessions favourites.

Not likely - Djokovic does this at least a couple times a major - it's like he's toying with the lesser players to completely destroy their confidence for future matches.

by ponchi101 A few matches in which he remembers that he ACTUALLY has to win the points somewhere in the third. And then he starts to do so.
