ESPN has a promotion about how much they do for women in sports. How much they help them advance in sports.
In the meantime, Muchova/Wang are playing an actual match and they are showing the talking heads talking about Medvedev/Baez, tonight's matches, the demise of the entire Argie brigade, and anything except show real women's tennis.
Like, you know? Show a women's match that does not involve Iga? (expletive) that!

The newest Karo moves on.
With Elena not being able to gain any traction, she is becoming my fave. Love the game and love the demeanor.

Last night they were showing the Gauff/Pegula doubles match over some men's singles match so there's that

Bencic was truly awful today, but Cirstea is playing slam-contending caliber tennis in this tournament. She was terrific against Rybakina as well and now she is into her first slam quarterfinal in 14 years.

I would not bet against her beating Muchova, although I don't know whether she can handle the slices and net game. She also got very tight at the end of today's match even though Bencic wasn't doing anything. She would have lost to Rybakina if she had been similarly nervous.

Cirstea was a promising teenager the last and only time she reached a GS QF's (2009 RG). I'll be rooting for her vs Muchova.

LOL. SO, Cirstea was up 6-3, 4-1, 40-0- and managed to break herself. Next time she served- she broke herself, albeit, to be fair, more simply. Fortunately- Bencic couldn't hold her serve, either. 3 & 3 win. I believe that Craybas and her fellow commentator mentioned something about a Bencic ankle sprain during the match? I only saw that last few games. NOT pretty. Nevertheless- the first US Open QF for Cirstea- and her second singles Slam QF at 33.

Caro was up 2-0 in the first set and only won one more game, losing it to Cori 6-3.

Butler is there but no sign of Bieber and those horrific sunglasses he was wearing.

Sure. But you are watching ESPN USA, I am watching ESPN L.America.
And they are doing it again. Caro/Coco is ongoing, and they are interviewing Shelton. And not even in split screen.
