Sloane played really well against Swiatek.. except for her second serve, which got the treatement it deserves... the court is faster here, helps people like Sloane, who move well and react well..

Yes. I only saw bits and pieces of the match but she fought the good fight I thought.

Saba losing makes us appreciate Sinner's feat better, doesn't it?

Never occurred to me, but Sinner is consistent. Think he's going to run the table through Miami? :) I don't.

Nerves? If so, since Pliskova was on a hot streak, then getting the win should boost her confidence.

No, but I think he'll have no R1 or R2 losses either. I'd predict min QF or better at both.

The 2nd set was much harder than the first, but Iga managed to win in straight anyway.

Of course. It is not as if she got demolished either. The H2H, as you said, was against her, so Donna certainly knows how to play against Aryna, but i always say that one of the things about this sport is the timing. And if you are gone, even for just a few weeks, that suffers at least a bit.

What?? I was watching this match before I went to work this morning, at that point she was up 6-2, 3-0 and cruising. I just assumed she won, but you know what they say....never assume anything. What happened???? That's a TOTAL collapse.

I was at work unable to watch, but now reading she also wasted 6 match points over four different games. No idea what exactly happened.
