I like Alvinlimtc's position. That Deminaur pick was superb.

Yup. That means only Alvinlimtc and Cyborgshoes (see edit below) will be able to beat draw as they are the only ones with Ruud left - since all of us will be picking from Zverev vs de Minaur we'll be out of picks on this half after tomorrow.

Yes, 14 SPers can blame the grounds crew like Djokovic did for not maintaining the courts, causing an injury, and wrecking the pool in the quarters. The French ALWAYS find a way to curse.

After his first near loss I was tempted to switch and take him before Ruud... guess I should have!

Looks like to me that only Alvinlimtc can beat the draw, Cyborgshoes would only have Sinner left for Semis

Remember we only need one semi pick and one final pick so they can us Sinner in semi or in final. They would pick Zverev tomorrow, then would have Ruud and Sinner left for their two picks in whatever order they want.

Oops. You are right that cyborg can't beat draw ... but they won't even make semis, they won't be able to pick anyone tomorrow since they already picked both Zverev and de Minaur.

Only Alvin can beat the draw now. That De Minaur pick is looking even better now.

I can’t beat the draw but I could theoretically still pick Ruud for tomorrow? And Sinner for semis? (Assuming I even survive with Tsitsipas now… I really went rogue!)

Or is it I can’t pick Ruud because he’s not actually playing a match, and everyone has to pick from the one match that is being played? What if one of Zverev or de Minaur pulled out also, would everyone get a pass? Fine with however it goes but I’m just curious!

Yeah Ruud won't be playing so you won't be able to pick him tomorrow. If Djokovic had withdrawn after the thread was posted you probably could have made the pick before he withdrew.

So what happens if we all get through to semis and then Alcaraz beats Sinner? Do all 12 or 13 of us who pick CA in the semis and HD for no pick left just tie?

In your scenario then yes, anyone who makes the semis and picks Alcaraz will tie. If Alvin picks Ruud in semis and Ruud wins, Alvin ties as well.

Must be first time in SP history that there is a walkover in quarters or later? Seems those who choosing their picks based on. Zverev winning FO is hard done by! But rules are rules....
