Yes, Mpetchi Perricard has a huge serve, but he won more than one point on only two of Musetti's 19 service games. It's hard for me to take a player seriously with numbers like that.

On the other side, Musetti has been absolutely terrific throughout the grass season. He will have an excellent shot to beat either Zverev or Fritz in what should be a close quarterfinal.

I think this was a hard match to get a sense of Mpetshi Perricard given that he clearly was tired, and not playing his best tennis. He's now in the top 50 so he'll start getting straight into events later this summer, and we'll have a better sense of his abilities. That being said the one-handed backhand stroke protection looks stunted.

That's a fair assessment, but when the Wimbledon main draw started, M-P was only 3-3 on grass, including a loss to Janvier in qualifying. I have a feeling he will be better on slower surfaces where he has a better shot to return serve. I guarantee you Musetti never has lost fewer points on serve in a match.

And Elena does what I always have said players should do when the other player takes a MTO. Get a few balls and take some serves. Stay warm. Don't serve at 100%, just go for some good second serves and keep the aim.
I think Kalinskaya is done. The look on her face is no good.

For Svitolina making quarters after last year's semis is not a disaster. It's actually quite good. The same goes for Medvedev.

ESPN saying that Zverev has not dropped serve yet in the tournament. That is pretty impressive. Let's see how long he can keep that up.

She hasn't lost yet. Why are we talking about disasters?

I mean if this is where she will stop (which is more than 50% possibility)

Surprising how Zverev lost a plot in this match. Sure, grass is not his thing but still.

Indeed. A bit more surprising is how he has faded in his last 5th sets (RG and now).
By now one has to start wondering what he is missing.
