this court is notoriously fast.. I dont expect Alcaraz to do very well.. Zverev has just won on a similarly fast court, Bercy, so he may do well.. I would look for Sinner and Medvedev to qualify from the Nastase group, Alcaraz may make it because his group is weak..? De Minaur is the wild card, may pull an upset to qualify in the Nastase group..Zverev will certainly qualify - he has a great record in WTFs for some reason...

Doubles has become so specialized there is hardly a player there I can recognise...not a good sign, doubles will die out, at this rate

A fun twist to this tournament is if they made the Bob Bryan group play left-handed and the Mike Bryan group right-handed.

But I thing that was cool. Name groups after a great doubles team of the past, and split them.

Out of 16 players only Jordan Thompson was noticeable in the singles.
