2025 Eurovision Song Contest

Well, for those who care, it's that time of year! The 2025 Eurovision national selections have started, and we have our first two confirmed entries for the 2025 installment of Eurovision. I'll be posting them here as they are selected. As usual, many of these songs will be revamped before the contest in May, so the songs themselves are not a done deal. Many of them will be modified between now and then.

Montenegro is returning to Eurovision after not competing since 2022. A song lamenting the pitfalls of the Internet titled "Clickbait" by the band Neonoen was originally selected. But after a snippet of the band performing a different version of the song prior to September 1 surfaced, Neonoen opted to withdraw rather than endure a full investigation.

Officials then announced that the pre-content favorite, DOBRODOŠLI by Nina Zizic would be Montenegro's entry for Eurovision. It's a Balkan ballad with a James Bond twist.

Last night, Albania wrapped up its national selection with a mild upset. Shkodra Elektronike won the selection with their song, Zjerm.
