I saw y'alls exchange in the other thread.

I think he cared very much about winning the match vs Tien, a 19 year old relatively untested at the elite levels of tennis. He didn't give up he lost.

Yes, but it was his second consecutive five set match. Something is not right with him.

His wife did just have a baby in early January, so there really wasn't much of an option to get to Australia early.

Tien is a lot better than people realize.

Medvedev is in a funk, but that was not nearly as bad a loss as the rankings indicate.

Uhm, Medvedev has not done much in quite a while. And I say he is not the only one that is washed up already.

I think you have to be a champion first to be able to be washed up later.

Don't agree. Tsitsipas, for example, made two slam finals. A lot was expected from him. Sakkari was the same, although she never made a final. I think the washed up tag comes to everybody, whatever you achieved.
Just that when you are Adrian Mannarino, no one cares. Even if Nelslus says not even he cares
