That was a great comeback by Swiatek.

I missed the 1st two sets, but the third set was very high quality. Swiatek was the tougher player at the end.

Anisimova and Saba are practically the same player.. powerfull and slow of foot,

One half-upset out of the 4 todays matches on WTA side.

That was Elena's career summarized in one match, for us fans.
Great start, the beautiful strokes, the tranquil attitude when ahead.
Then, she missed that easy smash to get broken for the first time. I saw it and said "that's it. Match over, Swiatek".
And then the unforced errors started piling on and we saw the end.

I am changing my tune for Swiatek. That was precisely the kind of match that she needed: it is a metaphor for what has been plaguing her for a while. And, if she can come back in a match like that, against a quality opponent, she can do it overall.
I say her chances of defending her championship are much better now.

Suliso said it. Musetti may be, currently, the 3rd best player on clay. I am not quite ready to agree (maybe Zverev is better, despite his putrid season) but he is clearly very good at the moment.
I will give Musetti a 1/3 chance of beating Alcaraz, if they meet. That was a good match against Rune.
