Am very interested to see what happens in the Wang-Anisimova first encounter..both young players, both very talented..AI gives AA 80% chance..I think that seriously underestimates Wang..it is 60-40 at best..

I am no Pegula fan but I always thought it absurd that Keys would beat her here..the court is fast and Keys is nowhere near her 2025 form..

Anisimova did beat her relatively easily, though. As for Wanf I wonder why she hasn't done more on the tour so far.

Anisimova is playing well. Let's see if that 0-3 record vs Pegula has any meaning.

Musetti is, without question, a better player than Fritz (and Paul for that matter), who peaked with his US Open final two years ago but already has gotten the most out of his ability.

I understand the skepticism about Musetti's ranking to an extent since he has not won a tournament in three years, but I think he has a case for being the third-best player in the world right now. He certainly is more fun to watch than any of the other contenders.

He'll have a golden chance to prove it by beating a well past prime Djokovic at a Slam.

I agree he's better than Fritz, but is he better than Djokovic and Zverev? We'll find out very soon.

I forgot about Djokovic. Let me rephrase. Musetti has the case for being No.4. I think we'll find out he can't beat Djokovic in two days' time.

Hey AO fans

It seems this year at the AO there are coach’s boxes courtside on the corners.

Musetti has 4 people in his coach’s box.

Fritz’s is empty.

Why is Fritz choosing not to have his coaching team in a position where they can help him?

They interviewed Russell on ESPN before the match and he said it’s a better view from the stands vs on court
