Can you beat the draw? Just one measly pick a day...

Indeed. 20 people picking Kostyuk, one day after the big bandwagon barely made it.
We are begging for it.
2 people about to .... nope, they just were executed by Svitolina, which was my other choice.
I must have been doomed from the beginning.

Two more upsets and we could have a single winner this evening.

I gave Svitolina a good thought. Decided she would go further. I gave Muchova a thought. Decided the same.
No way I escape three times in one day.
I am surprised about Muchova. She seemed solid.

Me too, but on the other hand at a very basic level Stephens is a more talented player. We just all assumed she's still in a slump. Maybe not anymore...

I think the Krejcikova picker should get a medal anyways!

Thanks for the kind words. I was almost a dreaded no pick. I was working at the computer vodka tonic in hand last night around 9 Minnesota time, decided to Listen to The Tennis Podcast and midway through went "oh I'd better pick somebody" I'm not used to being around this long.

Svitolina was around where she often loses in majors and Krejcikova is very solid. Took a chance.

The bandwagon actually cruised with ease. We may have picked Kostyuk a bit early, as it turns out.

Jabeur pickers in a bit of a trouble, though.

Not anymore. Jabeur is pretty much wrapping that one up.

Kostyuk was likely the best pick looking forward.

I took her because all of my picks are still alive. Pavs, Serena, Sloane, etc. I will run out of choices in the next couple of days, barring some miracle.
