Chron @chron
Watch DeMarcus Cousins laugh the laugh of a man who knows James Harden doesn't actually want to fight him.

The Lakers fire Voegl.
Because, you know, he was the source of this terrible season.
I used to like the Lakers. I was an absolute fan of Kareem/Magic/Worthy, one of the greatest trios ever. But the organization really makes it hard to like the team at all.

Coming from Reggie, that carries some weight.
Especially after that first game, I felt this was the series that most likely would go 7. Now it looks pretty sure that the Nets are not travelling anymore anywhere.

Yup. But as Stephen A just said on the broadcast, still filed a grievance to collect $20 million that he didn't earn.

He ruled himself out, the Nets doctors and trainers didn't make the decision and they took him at his word. Same soft ish it always is with him.

I had to agree with Stephen A and that hurt.

Didn't know about the grievance thing. That's some chutzpah.

Mr. Pittman knew what he was doing posting this picture. It's the most meme-able, or one of the most meme-able, I've ever seen.

A belt with a big cowboy buckle?
And that is the problem with the loose definition of "mental health". I am sure Naomi was dealing with real issues. Simone Biles most likely. But now, every clown like Simmons is going to declare he is taking care of "mental health issues" when in reality he simply is feeling a little off that day. As these problems are of a much more complex diagnosis (this is not a visible ACL sprain, for example), now everybody can claim they suffer from some mental problem and abuse the term, making it harder for people with real issues to be taken seriously.

I know that Boston is playing very good ball, and they do look like contenders. But after game 1, this series was looking like it would be decided in the 4th quarter of game 7. Instead, the Nets get swept.
I don't care. They still have KD and Kyrie, and a lot of talent on the bench, even if it is a bit aged. At least do a Nuggets and say "Not on our court. Celebrate somewhere else".
