Odd...maybe one of them got injured at the last minute?

Maybe. Thought perhaps McNally was going to play singles at an ITF or WTA 125 instead, since she's not in the Wimbledon main draw singles, but no, she's not on any acceptance list. And usually Coco would enter doubles with someone else. Odd.

Curiously, Gracheva is playing an ITF 60K instead of Wimbledon. She's ranked high enough for direct entry into Wimbledon, automatic $50k prize money. Strange.

by ashkor87 Maybe Gracheva needs points, not money...and this whole saga of McNally and Coco really illustrates the point that doubles needs to be more rewarding...so what if McNally can't get into the singles draw? Just that there isn't enough money in double...this time, I suspect, something happened to McNally after the entry deadline .else, yes, Coco would have played with Pegula or someone...

Oh, Gracheva is Russian. Duh. :)

There is probably a very normal reason neither is in doubles. I’m just curious what it is.

After making finals in both singles and doubles, I think Gauff believed playing both at Wimbledon was too much in a short period of time. Can not wait until USO season to see if they team up again.

Yes, that's one possibility. Hope someone asks her. I'm just curious. Hope they come back together for hard courts. US Open finalists last year...
