Yes, unless there was a year with so much rain that the tournament was more than one day behind schedule.

Indeed, there have been 3 PEOPLE'S SUNDAYS in the history of the tournament. PEOPLE'S SUNDAYS because tickets were FCFS. Anybody could enter, if standing in queue.

Only one Sinner picker. A brave move, indeed.

I had already taken Alcaraz so it was the pick that made most sense. And i do think he is going to win, and took him in predictions too (51% sure!) I considered Tiafoe but then if Paul won I’d have no way to beat draw.

That said, if I still had Alcaraz available… the huge bandwagon would have been tempting.

Interesting. I was in a same boat, but picked Tiafoe anyway betting also on Norrie to win.

Welp. There has not been a comeback from two sets to love all tournament. 26 of us are hoping for the first from Alcaraz, but he is being outplayed by a long way in every department.

Carlitos is not one to give up easily for sure. I am hoping for it. If he goes down this will take a huge chunk out of the SP pool.

In Latvian there is a saying that translates to "the luck was close, but we run out of money". This is what happened to me - looked promising for a long time, but eventually that 50/50 match went in a wrong direction for me... :(

Well...I'm out with Tiafoe...5 set tease...I thought he might have it until he lost serve at the end of the 4th.

A very tough call. That was indeed a 50% match. I am sure that final stats will be something like a 170-171 points split.

Time to head to the pub. I probably will be headed there myself a bit later when Alcaraz goes down.
