No, I have always said it is 10% max .in some cases,that is enough to make the difference...if the two players are evenly matched, it can be the differentiator. I don't think player #100 can beat Swiatek, for instance, on any surface whatever.

Yes, there is always some selection bias- after all, we only comment on close matches, not on highly uneven matchups...
At MC, for instance, I think Wawrinka will beat DeMinaur on clay, I wouldn't say that on grass...
