watched a bit of Navarro-Gauff on youtube.. Navarro looks a bit like Perlovic to m, just physically, I mean..
she tried to go toe to toe against Gauff's backhand, which was never going to work.. but Gauff's forehand still has the tendency to go short- I noticed she is trying to correct it by taking a big swing - hope that works for her. Coco served very well..

Svitolina took 2 injury timeouts in her match, so I'll be curious to see if she is ready to go tomorrow or not. Coco has ripped through her half of the draw, and her serve has been lethal.

Svitolina’s grunt, which she only uses if she’s behind in the point, is quite long and obnoxious and borderline hindrance IMO. You should not still bellowing once that ball goes over the net

Svitolina appeared to aggravate an ankle injury when she miffed a volley and has called the trainer a couple of points later

Coco shouldave won in straights though, missed an easy pass by a whisker at set point first set..
court looked fast.. as expected, Coco's defense was up to the teask.. Svitolina was trying to hit harder and harder to get through it, didnt work..
