Which means Djokovic...paraphrasing Lineker, tennis is a simple game..two guys will bash the ball back and forth for three hours, and Djokovic always wins!
For those who may not know..Lineker, a great footballer and coach, said something like ,-'football is a simple game, 22 players will run and kick the ball around for 90 minutes, and the Germans always win'

As for Sinner perhaps the surface is not his absolute favorite, but he has started very well. 6-3, 6-0 against a respectable opponent.

As I had predicted, Alexandrova is out early. Kerber proved me wrong, she is evidently playing close to her best?

I didn't expect Collins to win but she was flat and played as if she were tired. She needed that day of rest in between and didn't get it due to the rain delay.

Rybakina withdrew. Yet again. Just in the last year: Stuttgart, French Open, Eastbourne, Cincinnati, Tokyo, Zhenzhou, World Tennis League, Dubai, and now Indian Wells. Nine events in less than 12 months.

Looking forward to Osaka vs Samsonova...Osaka is a great champion, but is she back? At her best, nobody should beat her on this surface, except maybe Swiatek..Samsonova is very powerful, plays well on slow hardcourts..but certainly isn't 'great' like Osaka is ..

In the old days, either the ball was clearly out or it was in. Electronics has ruined all that...

Jabeur lost to Volynets. My friend said, "We'll never see here again" the minute she lost Wimbledon. He might be right.

UGGHHHH. Baptiste had match points against a sub-par Keys- and just couldn't take it. Sad.
