Sad that she thinks she should feel bad about choosing family, or that having a family isn't an example of "woman power." The power is in having the choice. Based on the photo from the Laureus Awards this week, it wouldn't surprise me if she is already pregnant. She doesn't usually wear an empire waist like this dress. It's perfect for hiding a baby bump.

It's obvious that she's not athletically fit.

Alize Cornet has announced her retirement, after RG. She was a bit of a brat but I liked her feisty spirit.. she had the longest run of playing majors, unbroken since 2007 ...her speciality was bringing the FO champion down to earth at Wimbledon...

Overachiever? Underachiever? Great things were expected of her. And they did not materialized.
Then again, every single french player is expected to win big (by the french media) and then they don't, so she was par for the course.

He he..I think you are right..she did what was expected of her. She will always be remembered as the only player other than Venus to beat Serena 3 times (,not sure about Henin...)

Henin beat her six times, Venus twelve. Other players who beat her three or more times: Capriati seven, Hingis six, Azarenka five, Davenport four, Kerber three, Osaka three. Not a comprehensive list.

Re: TENNIS PLAYERS (Off-Court Shenanigans)
Thanks..I was relying on my recollection..of these, cornet came close to an even h2h, only Osaka has a winning h2h and Hingis is a great player in Serena's class anyway, which Cornet never was. more accurate statement would have been 'the only non multiple major champion' ...
